HUF 5 billion worth development at Henkel's Körösladány Plant

The handover of the new production facility took place on 2 July 2013. Mr Nándor Csepreghy, Deputy State Secretary for Development Projects said that the Government was determined to use 60% of the EU funds available to Hungary during the budget period 2014-2020 for economic development, thus creating as many jobs as possible.
Travelling to the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix free of charge

With the cooperation of the national transport companies the visitors may travel to the Hungarian Grand Prix free of charge again this year. Within the framework of the programme titled „Egyenesen a Hungaroringre 2” (Straight to Hungaroring 2) with the discount provided by MÁV-START Zrt., GYSEV Zrt., Volánbusz Zrt. and BKK Zrt. the 28th Formula-1 Hungarian Grand Prix will be accessible free of charge from even the remotest point of the country, it was announced on the press conference held at the Hungaroring on 28 June 2013.
Five waste deposit sites successfully recultivated in the Karcag area

Five previously closed waste deposit in four settlements in the Karcag sub-region have been successfully recultivated at a cost of HUF 1.3bn, announced László Dobos MP (Fidesz-KDNP), Mayor of Karcag, at the event held in the city to mark the closing of the project.
Regional electricity market integration assessed by the Hungarian presidency at closing meeting

The Visegrad Countries confirmed their commitment toward extending the successful Czech-Slovakian-Hungarian market integration to Poland at the closing meeting of the Hungarian presidency of the Central Eastern European Forum for Electricity Market Integration (CEEE Forum) held in Budapest on 18 June 2013.
Nearly 10 kilometres of road was reconstructed between Röszke and Mórahalom

Another road reconstruction project was completed with the support of the New Széchenyi Plan. A nearly 10-kilometre section of the road connecting Röszke and Mórahalom in Csongrád County was reconstructed from over HUF 1 billion European Union funds. The inauguration ceremony of the project was held in Mórahalom on 20 June 2013.
Accident investigation and rescue exercise organised by the GYSEV railway company

Railway professionals and ambulance, police and fire service representatives also participated in the rescue exercise organised by GYSEV Zrt. in Sopron on 19 June 2013. During the simulation a yard locomotive collided with two motor vehicles. As Mr Zoltán Schváb, Deputy State Secretary for Transport under the Ministry of National Development emphasized at the venue, similar exercises are extremely important in order to ensure effective, fast and synchronised rescue operation and restoration in real accident situations.
Increasing online bankcard payments in public administration procedures

As a result of a project managed by the Governmental Information-Technology Development Agency (GITDA) online bankcard payment (VPOS) has been an option in increasing number of procedures in public administration since the end of March. The system implemented with the support of the New Széchenyi Plan justified the preliminary expectations already in the first period.
Completion of engineering site at Ófehértó

The handover of the Ófehértó Motorway Engineering and new motorway police site at kilometre section 254 of the M3 motorway between Nyíregyháza and highway No. 49 took place on 18 June 2013. Mr Pál Völner, Minister of State for Infrastructure under the Ministry of National Development spoke at the event.
Over 60 projects are presented on the second open day of EU development projects

The National Development Agency (NDA) organised the open day of European Union development projects for the second time on 15 June 2013, at which over 60 development projects implemented within the framework of the New Széchenyi Plan were presented to the public nationally, said Nándor Csepreghy, Deputy State Secretary for Development Projects of the Ministry for National Development (MND).
Forum on investment opportunities in domestic mining

The Ministry of National Development together with the Hungarian Office for Mining and Geology and the Geological and Geophysical Institute of Hungary held an investment forum on the 14th of June 2013, in the Karolyi Csekonics Residency in Budapest. Potential investors, trade union representatives and other interested parties had been informed about the Hungarian legal framework of the proposed mining concessions as well as about the EU member states’ working solutions and characterized basic conditions.
