The Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Thien Nhan arrived to Hungary for an official three-day visit. His meetings focused on research and development (R&D), nuclear regulation, training and higher education, as well as on advanced vocational and postgraduate study programmes. The Ministry of National Development calls for tenders to install solar energy systems in buildings managed by residential public institutions as of 5 August 2013. Hungary’s development ministry said it had selected two projects for the second tender of the NER300 programme, which funds innovative low-carbon technology and renewable energy projects. NER300 is managed jointly by the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and member states.
