The Hungarian Government signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Hankook Tire Hungary Ltd. Prime Minister Viktor Orbán pledged to set up an English-language business school, established from a mixture of public and private funds, which could indirectly improve Hungary's potential to attract investment.
Hungary should be contented about the economic achievements of Slovakia, said Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the Hungarian-Slovak economic forum organised by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK). At the meeting, which was attended by his Slovakian counterpart Robert Fico, Viktor Orbán also noted that economic cooperation between the two countries could help in resolving other issues as well. He briefly mentioned that the Cabinet has decided on new balance-improvement measures in order to achieve a 2.7 percent budget deficit target.
There are no political, legal or economic obstacles in the way of Arab-Hungarian business relations, the Prime Minister said on Monday at the first Arabic-Hungarian Forum, at which approximately 200 businessmen, diplomats and politicians from 16 Arab countries took part. At the meeting, 87 priority investment projects worth 1.94 billion euros were presented to the participants.
