As the Ministry for National Economy communicated yesterday, the talks due to be held this autumn would take place exclusively within the economic policy consultations as usual with all the member countries (Article IV consultations).

In the presence of relatives and family members Lieutenant General Tibor Benkő bade farewell to the HDF 86th Air Mentor Team (AMT) in the Community Centre of the Szolnok Helicopter Base. The team consisting of 10 soldiers starts its service on 25th August 2010.

A NATO C-IED training course is being held at the HDF Central Training Centre in Szentendre, Hungary between August 14-27. The Iraqi and Hungarian officers who take part in the training learn how to cope with Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). The NATO Training Mission in Iraq (NTM-I) initiated the training for Iraqi military officers and government experts.
