The greatest depositories of Hungarian ecotourism are our national parks, the Ministry of Rural Development's Deputy State Secretary for Environmental Affairs and Conservation declared at the press conference organised to mark the launch of the campaign to promote the country's national parks. At the event, which was held in the Museum of Natural Sciences in Budapest, awards were also presented to the winners of the Magical Hungary photo competition. The Ministry and the organisation are jointly launching a new tender category entitles "Man in Nature".
According to the latest report of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), in the last quarter of 2013 the volume of investment increased by 14.9 percent year-on-year, which growth figure was last seen in Q1 2004.
According to the proposal put forward by the Fehér Gyűrű ("White Ring") Public Benefit Association tasked with performing the preparative work, the Government is contributing seventy million forints towards helping the victims of the Roma murders. By the end of this government term six thousand nursery places will have been created and more than another five thousand will have been modernized, Minister of State for Social and Family Affairs Miklós Soltész said on Wednesday in the town of Salgótarján, north-eastern Hungary, during the laying of the foundation stone for a new nursery there.
The IC+ carriages of MÁV-START Ltd. completed by the end of last summer are scheduled to set off to Switzerland in March for their final test consisting of the outdoor noise testing of the passing carriages.
