Deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navracsics on Monday sent an open letter to Viviane Reding, the European Commissioner in charge of justice, fundamental rights and citizenship, in response to an interview published in Hungarian daily Népszava two days ago, in which she said, among other remarks, that the Hungarian legal system should comply with EU norms.
Foreign Minister János Martonyi and His Excellency Nam Gwan-Pyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Hungary signed the bilateral Working Holiday Program Agreement on 9 April 2013 in Budapest. The Agreement provides an opportunity for young Koreans and Hungarians travelling to each other’s countries to get a temporary work permit.
Two hundred Hungarian young people travel to Auschwitz today to participate in the 26th remembrance programme organized by the March of the Living. Tens of thousands of young people from 53 countries are to participate in the programme.
