Modern buses, higher quality services also in the agglomeration

Based on the order made by the Centre for Budapest Transport (BKK) VOLÁNBUSZ Ltd. is taking over the operation of bus services in community transport in certain lines in the agglomeration, which have an important role in the Budapest traffic. BKK and VOLÁNBUSZ will provide higher quality services to the population of the capital and the 11 agglomeration settlements with MAN and RABA-VOLVO Accessible Low Floor (ALF) buses also equipped with AC systems.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán declared a resounding victory for his Fidesz-led conservative alliance on Sunday after getting re-elected for another four years by the Hungarian voters. According to the National Election Office’s preliminary results, based on a count of over 98.97% of the votes, Fidesz-KDNP won 44.54% of the vote, giving the incumbent party a projected 133 seats, in a Parliament of 199 seats.

The recently renovated Royal Garden Pavilion or Castle Bazaar at the foot of the Buda Castle will host two major exhibitions in the near future: am exhibition gathering the works of famous Hungarian painter Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka this summer and a memorial exhibition marking the beginning of World War I next year, Government Commissioner László L. Simon said at a press event on Thursday in Budapest.
