On Monday, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and Romanian Minister of Economy Andrei Gerea agreed in Bucharest to convene the Hungarian-Romanian joint economic committee.
China, Hungary and Serbia have agreed to cooperate in modernising the Budapest-Belgrade railway line. The agreement was concluded by Prime Ministers Viktor Orbán of Hungary, Li Keqiang of China and Ivica Dačić of Serbia in Bucharest on Monday.

Hungary marked the memorial day of those deported to the Soviet Union on Monday. On November 25, 1953, about 1,500 political prisoners returned from the Gulag to Hungary while as many as 800,000 Hungarians are estimated to have been sent to Soviet forced labour camps after the Second World War and half of them perished there.
"60 years ago the Hungarians and the Hungarian football team achieved a world-renowned victory. A victory that we and the world will remember not just for sixty years, but very probably until the end of time", Minister of State for Sport and Youth Affairs István Simicskó said at the commemorative event held by the Hungarian Football Association (MLSZ) at the Puskás Stadium on Monday, 25 November. On this very day in 1953, the Hungarian national football team beat England 6-3 in the "game of the century" held at Wembley Stadium, breaking the host's 90-year home winning streak.
"100 thousand hectares of state-owned land have been put to use and 3000 land lease contracts have been signed so far within the framework of the National Land Programme; the tendering of state-owned land and the adjudication of tender applications is occurring continuously", Minister for Rural Development Sándor Fazekas announced at a press conference on Monday.
There is increasing demand for the social land programme; therefore, the increased allocation of HUF 250 million assigned for this purpose will also be available in 2014 or may even increase, Zoltán Kovács, Minister of State of the Ministry of Human Resources stated.
The renewed reformed church in Vedresábrány, Romania was opened on Sunday. The celebration was attended by Deputy State Secretary for National Policy Zsuzsanna Répás, who said that the church, which dates back to the Arpad-age, was saved from collapsing.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will attend a summit of his counterparts in Central and Eastern Europe and China, in Bucharest on Monday and Tuesday.
On Monday Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic, agreed on opening a Hungarian cultural institute in Belgrade early next year.
