Dead Hero’s Grave Found in Ukraine

On Friday, July 13 Lt.-Col. Dr. László Töll, the Head of the MoD Military Heritage and War Grave Care Department and his deputy, Maj. Roland Maruzs announced one of the most significant events of Hungarian war grave care in the Balaton St. compound of the Ministry of Defence. The mortal remains of vitéz nemes József Barankay – a legendary Hungarian officer serving with the self-propelled artillery (SPARTY) branch – have been found and identified in the Hungarian–German heroes’ cemetery in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.

Risk indicators regarding Hungary have improved

According to the CMA Datavision ranking of the second quarter of 2012, Hungary is no more among the world top 10 of highest risk countries and it has achieved the second best improvement compared to the risk perception of the previous quarter. The favourable result has been primarily due to the introduction of the Széll Kálmán Plan 2.0 and the positive developments with regard to the EU/IMF negotiations.

In May 2012 average gross wages in the private sector increased by 9.4 percent, whereas net wages excluding family tax allowances were 6.5 percent higher in comparison to the same period of the previous year, which signals a wage increase above inflation -- the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) has reported earlier this morning in its statistical release.

It has been obvious that there cannot be a recovery from the financial and economic crisis without small enterprises which have to be freed of burdens weighing on their activities. The small enterprise tax about to be introduced also serves this end. This tax will set a new direction in the income tax system.

Parliament declared this prominent day of Hungarian and European history and of Christianity the Memorial Day of the Nándorfehérvár Victory last year.

EOD Team Used Hook and Line Kit to Remove IED From Tanker Truck

A positive turn in industrial production

In May 2012 according to workday-adjusted statistics the volume of industrial production increased by 1.9 percent in comparison to the same period of the previous year and seasonally and workday-adjusted data also signal a significant expansion of 3.2 percent. Unadjusted figures also show a more favourable result than the statistics of April: in May there was a decline of only 0.4 percent compared to the level of one year ago.
