War hero warrant officer György Kolozsvári was promoted to posthumous second lieutenant by Minister of Defence Csaba Hende at the welcoming ceremony of the 8th rotation of HDF PRT on 7th of September. The soldier on mission had suffered serious injuries on 23rd August during the Afghanistan mission and died on the day of his comrades’ welcoming ceremony in ‘Honvéd’ Hospital.
Warrant officer György Kolozsvári who suffered life-threatening injuries in an Afghanistan attack died in hospital on Tuesday morning, September 7, 2010. His life could not have been saved despite that he was under the most intensive medical treatment.
