At the Jubilee International Rectors’ Conference at the University of Pécs, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke, among other things, of how we must confront an ever increasing number of environmental disasters as a result of the economic crisis. In his speech he went on to urge the leaders of education at the conference to consider ways in which education could help in dealing with the causes and effects of such catastrophic events.
