Hungarian-owned Kerox Ltd. will build a new plant in Sóskút, Hungary with an investment of € 15 million (4.45 bn HUF) and the expansion of manufacturing capacity is made possible by the Government’s decision to support the project financially, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and Managing Director of Kerox Ltd. Attila Gábor Kovács announced at their joint press conference in Diósd, Hungary.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán declared a resounding victory for his Fidesz-led conservative alliance on Sunday after getting re-elected for another four years by the Hungarian voters. According to the National Election Office’s preliminary results, based on a count of over 98.97% of the votes, Fidesz-KDNP won 44.54% of the vote, giving the incumbent party a projected 133 seats, in a Parliament of 199 seats.

Prec-Cast Ltd., based in Sátoraljaújhely, has decided to build a new, 12.000 square metre plant as the first phase of a planned investment project. State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó said at the foundation stone laying ceremony that the investment will create 300 new workplaces at one of the most important firms of the Hungarian casting industry. The company currently employs 900 people and is an important supplier to the Western European automotive industry.
