On Wednesday, at Waberer's International transport company’s ceremony, where 500 new semi-trailers were handed over, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated that whereas the Government could regulate, stimulate and influence the market, the actual business of operating was down to companies. The company's new investment will create 600 new jobs.
Speaking at the company's site in Soroksár the Prime Minister stated that Waberer's was the top of its game against the competition in Europe, and every private Hungarian company should be developed along similar lines.
He emphasised that the Government made the right decision when it signed a strategic agreement with Waberer's, adding that the cooperation will continue and elements aimed at improving will be included along the way. In this way, Hungary's favourable geographical position from a transport and logistics point of view can best be utilised, the Prime Minister pointed out.
Waberer's International CEO and chairman György Waberer stated at the event that road haulage companies were only able to weather the economic crisis thanks to government incentives.
