Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Secretary of State of the Prime Minister's Office for foreign affairs and external economic relations Péter Szíjjártó received Rainer Brüderle, Chairman of the Bundestag's FDP parliamentary group, and a delegation from the liberal German party today in Parliament.
The parties discussed the most important challenges facing the European Union. Viktor Orbán stated that he views German-Central European cooperation as the engine of European growth.
The parties agreed that Hungary and Germany are each other's strategic partners. According to Viktor Orbán, good relations with the German business and economic community are of priority importance, particularly in view of the fact that 300 thousand Hungarians are employed by German companies.
