Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held talks in his office last afternoon with Arthur Schneier, Senior Rabbi of Park East Synagogue in New York, President of the Appeal of Conscience Foundation, and internationally acknowledged advocate of inter-religious dialogue.
They discussed the status of dialogue between world religions. Orban assured his guest that Hungary is devoted to protecting the rights of every Hungarian citizen so that they may live in peace and security, in the spirit of the sanctity of human dignity.
The Prime Minister also added that he personally stood for a zero-tolerance policy with respect to any anti-Semitic statements or manifestations.
