Prime Minister Viktor Orbán congratulated Tomislav Nikolic on his election as Serbia’s President of the Republic in a letter.

The Hungarian Prime Minister reassured the newly elected Serbian President that Serbia may continue to rely on Hungary’s support in its European integration efforts. Viktor Orbán stressed in his letter that relations between our countries are particularly underlined by the importance of strategic cooperation in Central-Europe and our joint efforts to improve the situation of national minority communities. “In the hope of our successful future cooperation, I wish you strength, courage and good health for the fulfilment of your duties in your office”, the Hungarian Prime Minister wrote in closing his lines.
