Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will pay a visit to Brussels and hold talks with EU leaders on 30 January, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szíjjártó announced on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to give a presentation regarding the prospects for reinforcing the euro zone and its possible impacts on the European Union at economic think-tank the Bruegel Institute. Chairman of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs Elmar Brok will also speak on the subject.
The Prime Minister will also hold talks with President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso and President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. The discussion with the Council President will focus on budget prospect issues scheduled for discussion at the Council's next session. Finally, Viktor Orbán will also meet with President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz.
