Today, the Hungarian Parliament adopted the 2013 budget, which according to the Hungarian Government’s assessment has settled state finances, which were chaotic and dishevelled when the Government took office.
The budget ensures the reduction of public debt and at the same time establishes the funds for the Job Protection Action Plan necessary for the protection of several hundred thousand workplaces, and creates the basis for long-term, lasting growth. Therefore, the Prime Minister expresses his gratitude to Minister of National Economy György Matolcsy for his successful efforts and to the Members of Parliament who voted in favour of the proposal.
