The National Development Agency (NFÜ) held a campaign closing event for its Számít a szavam! (My word counts!) programme at the Liszt Academy of Music.

The programme included a concert, for which the tickets were issued on a random basis among the people who voted on the use of the EU funds at szamitaszavam.hu website.

Speeches were delivered by Government Commissioner András Batta, Rector at the Liszt Academy of Music Andrea Vigh and Deputy State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office Nándor Csepreghy. In his speech, Mr. Csepreghy said: “In reply to our request on the szamitaszavam.hu website, you kindly provided the rhythm and gave us the priorities for the fields of development policy. Now it is our turn to compose the music to the rhythm that your almost 100 thousand votes have indicated to policymakers.

The Deputy State Secretary also said that the participants of the vote determined job creation as the outmost important task, which correlates to the Government’s next 7-year development plan. At the concert, those present enjoyed performances by the Kelemen quartet, Károly Binder and Mihály Borbély, and by Ágnes Herczku and Nikola Parov.
