Minister of State heading the Prime Minister’s Office János Lázár declared that the Government would provide all possible help so that Hungarian wines could become world famous.

At a professional conference on wine legislation and marketing in Budapest on Friday, the Minister of State said that the country has all the necessary conditions, including both soil and climate, and wine culture, to produce high quality wines, but these must also become better known abroad and we must change the situation whereby "Hungarian wines are only world famous in Hungary".
