State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations, Péter Szijjártó held talks with Arben Ahmetaj, the economic development minister of Albania's new government.
The state secretary reaffirmed that Hungary continued to whole-heartedly support Albania's aspirations for European integration. The two sides agreed to intensify cooperation in water management, farming and energy.
Szijjárto asked the minister to promote the involvement of the Hungarian Electricity Works MVM in modernising Albania's electricity grid, and oil company Mol's participation in Albanian projects.
