Hungary's government signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Monday with the local unit of Swiss rolling stock maker Stadler Rail.
State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and Zoltán Dunai, country manager of Stadler Rail Group signed the agreement on Monday in Budapest.
The State Secretary noted that it is not an overstatement to say that Hungary has become the centre for transport machinery manufacturing, adding that Stadler’s 3.5 billion forint investment in Szolnok will create 230 new jobs.
