Hungary has become a stronghold for the car industry, especially due to its sufficient supplier network, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó said on public television M1.
One goal is for Hungarian suppliers not only to server the subsidiaries of big corporations but they should be included in big global networks. He said a programme made up of four pillars will help SMEs reach markets: the government plans to open altogether seven trading houses in various eastern and post-Soviet countries. It will also launch a 300-million-forint network of experts, a suppliers’ development programme and a scheme to help representation on foreign markets, he added.
