State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó held consultations with the biggest British investors in Hungary on 25 September. The State Secretary briefed British employers on the government’s job protection action plan as well as on measures designed to ease red tape and administrative burdens.
At the meeting, predictability and a steady business environment were mentioned as crucial factors to increase investments in Hungary, the State Secretary’s press chief told MTI. Éva Varga added, the heads of British business operating in Hungary said they were ready to propose measures aimed at boosting the Hungarian economy at the earliest opportunity.
Péter Szijjártó also held talks with the President of the Jordan Europe Business Association as well as with Jordanian businessmen from the Association.
