Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó has held talks with senior government officials in Morocco on developing bilateral economic relations and boosting Hungarian exports.

Morocco is Hungary's fifth biggest trading partner in Africa, according to Mr. Szijjártó, who also said that two-way trade had doubled in three years and came close to a record 150 million dollars last year. The State Secretary said he saw a good chance for increasing Hungarian farming and car industry sales to Morocco. The North African country plans to complete construction of its first nuclear power plant by 2025, and Hungary is prepared to train Moroccan engineers for the project.
