Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received the Mayor of Shanghai Yang Xiong in Budapest on Wednesday.
The parties concluded that good regional links were the basis of successful Chinese-Hungarian economic cooperation.
Budapest Mayor Istvan Tarlos also attended the meeting and later signed a sister city agreement between Budapest and Shanghai with his Chinese counterpart.
