The Hungarian Prime Minister met with Peter Spuhler, CEO of Stadler Rail AG on Tuesday, 25 September.

Deputy State Secretary for Employment Sándor Czomba, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó, Mayor of Szolnok Ferenc Szalay and Managing Director of Stadler Trains Hungary Ltd. Zoltán Dunai were also present at the meeting.

Prime Minister Orbán expressed his appreciation for the company’s performance as well as for the opportunity given to Hungarian suppliers, and congratulated the group on its latest investment in Hungary. On Wednesday, 26 September Stadler Rail AG will lay the foundation stone for its new plant in Szolnok, through which 200 new jobs will be created. The Leaders of Stadler highlighted their good cooperation with the city of Szolnok as well as their satisfaction with the Government launching the dual training system in Hungary.
