Hungary has one of the best quality soils in Europe, without considerable contamination and accompanied by a well-balanced climate, the Prime Minister stated.
He emphasised that in a world that needs to provide for 7 billion people, agriculture indeed has a future and work based on expertise cannot be replaced with anything else. Prime Minister Orbán spoke at the handover ceremony of a cattle farm established from 3.5 billion forints as part of the Bonafarm Group in Csípőtelek. The farm is the largest in Central Eastern Europe and is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies.
At the opening the Prime Minister praised Sándor Csányi, owner of Bonafarm Group and CEO of OTP Bank for investing into agriculture and stated that the Hungarian Government believes that it is possible to establish quality life in the countryside.
In his speech the Hungarian Prime Minister emphasised that with appropriate education, managers and plant conditions Hungarians are capable of performing at the highest level. Investments such as the one in Csípőtelek show that the country is capable of more, he added.
