Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will travel to Brussels on Thursday to take part in the European Union extraordinary summit of Heads of State and Government, held to discuss the crisis in Ukraine, before heading to Dublin for a two-day meeting of the European People's Party.
The Hungarian Prime Minister will address the EPP's meeting on Friday, where the party's platform will be discussed for the European elections and delegates will choose a contender for the post of president of the European Commission.
Speakers in Dublin will include Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, Herman van Rompuy, President of the European Council, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Speakers from Ukraine are invited to address the event, including Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, former premier Yulia Tymoshenko and leader of the Udar party Vitaly Klitschko.
