Prime Minister Viktor Orban received a high Macedonian state award in Skopje on Thursday for promoting the country's Euro-atlantic integration.
The September 8 Order was awarded to him by President Gjorge Ivanov in recognition of friendly relations between Hungary and Macedonia and Orban's merits in strengthening Macedonia's international prestige.
September 8 is Macedonia's national holiday, the anniversary of declaring independence in 1991.
