Arab-Hungarian relations have seen a breakthrough, and this is expected to show up in major business cooperation soon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in Riyadh on Monday, during a two-day official visit. The Hungarian delegation included, among others, Minister of National Economy Mihály Varga, Minister for Human Resources Zoltán Balog and State Secretary Péter Szijjártó and more than a hundred Hungarian businessmen offering 41 investment opportunities to Arab partners totalling 3 billion dollars.

Hungary welcomes investors from Saudi Arabia, he stated, adding, that there are opportunities in Central Europe these days. Hungary, too, wants to sell its products on the Saudi Arabian market, he said, after holding talks with Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, the heir to the throne, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, the second deputy prime minister, and Abdel-Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
