State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations, Péter Szijjártó is visiting Washington today, where he will hold talks with senior officials and influential regional and Hungarian affairs staff from the US State Department.
During the three-day visit, the State Secretary will meet Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Marie Yovanovitch, Senior Advisor Tomicah Tillemann and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Thomas O. Melia, as well as leaders of international Jewish organizations and the heads of the most significant scientific institutions.
The visit of the new State Secretary for Foreign Affairs aims to present what governmental decisions have been approved during the course of the country’s renewal, as well as to inform on their outcome and to reinforce the allied cooperation.
