State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó began an official, one and a half day visit to Qatar yesterday.
The Gulf States have elaborated large-scale plans in order to also develop those economies that are not based on oil production. The State Secretary is negotiating about how Hungarian companies may be involved in these investment projects.
Among others, Péter Szijjártó is meeting with State Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Minister of Energy Affairs Mohamed Saleh Abdulla Al Sada and Minister of Business and Trade Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulazíz Al Thani.
