Singapore regards the economic and political changes that have taken place in Hungary as "positive and forward-looking", the country's head of state, Tony Tan Keng Yam said during talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest on Wednesday.
Accordingly, Singapore's President has recommended that the company directors of his country should regard Hungary as the "gateway to Europe".

The two sides agreed on the importance of Hungarian companies accessing South-East Asian markets via Singapore and also briefed one another on current political developments in their countries.
President Tan Keng Yam also held talks with his Hungarian counterpart, János Áder.
