Prime Minister Viktor Orbán emphasized to Tomislav Nikolić, the President of Serbia that Hungary continues to support Serbia’s efforts to join the European Union.
At a working dinner yesterday, the two parties agreed that ties between their countries were of strategic importance and that they would make joint efforts for further cooperation. In addition, the parties also talked about taking the necessary legislative steps to strengthen cross-border cooperation.
The Serbian Head of State Tomislav Nikolić was invited for a two-day visit to Budapest by President János Áder. After laying a wreath at the Memorial on Heroes' square this morning, he will hold talks at the President's Sándor Palace.
