Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó and Ukrainian Minister for Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk held talks on Monday at the first session of Hungarian-Ukrainian Economic Joint Committee.
Ukraine is Hungary’s 3rd largest trading partner excluding the EU countries, and cooperation is developing dynamically. The main areas of cooperation include energy, agriculture and the machine industry.
The partnership between the two countries will be further expanded through the establishment of more new border crossing points and the elaboration of new infrastructure development projects financed by the state-owned Hungarian Export-Import Bank (Eximbank).
