The 2012 Republican National Convention is being held this week in Tampa, Florida, at which the party will nominate its presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the upcoming elections.
State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó will attend the convention, where he will be meeting with members of Congress and foreign policy advisors of the party.
In early September, Deputy State Secretary for International Communications Ferenc Kumin will attend the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
