Hungary will do everything to help Bosnia and Herzegovina advance towards EU membership, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated at a press conference with his counterpart, Prime Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda on Friday.
He had asked the Bosnian party to identify prospective areas in which they would expect Hungary's partnership, he added. At the meeting, they also agreed to develop air transport between the two countries, while negotiations are already underway for establishing a railway connection.
Prime Minister Orbán noted that the Government has already decided to construct the last, Hungarian section of the Budapest-Osijek-Sarajevo-Ploce motorway section. The allocation for that M6 motorway section leading up to the Hungarian border has already been made, he said.
