At the ceremonial opening, Hungarian State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and External Economic Relations Péter Szijjártó highlighted that the world-leader pump producer’s choice to bring their newest inventions’ manufacturing process to Hungary is yet another acknowledgment for the high quality Hungarian manufacturing industry.

Besides a new assembly line that produces pumps and engines, a new fitness area and an internet café have also been established for the workers' well-being at the Grundfos factory in Tatabánya, northern Transdanubia.

The State Secretary also said 878 million euros in Danish investment have arrived to Hungary since 2003, which indicates the level of confidence of the Danish economy in Hungary.

This data translates to around 10.000 new jobs in the country. CEO of Grundfos Manufacturing Hungary László Török said the company currently employs 80 people, which will rise to 100 this year when the plant begins working at full capacity.
