Viktor Orbán concluded a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Alcoa-Köfém Ltd. on Wednesday. In a speech held at the signing ceremony in Parliament, the Prime Minister emphasized that there are some multinational companies that do not take away their profits from Hungary; on the contrary, they reintegrate them into the Hungarian economy.
The Prime Minister further stressed that despite dominant anti-multinational sentiment, there are some companies that have integrated into the Hungarian economy not only with the aim of penning up a new market but also to boost development and create jobs.
Alcoa Ltd. is one of these companies, providing employment for several thousand people.
