“Under your leadership, Hungary has successfully got back on its own two feet though its own efforts and has stepped onto the path of development in every aspect of economic and social life”, former President of Slovakia Rudolf Schuster wrote in a letter to Prime Minister Orbán.

Mr. Schuster thanked the Hungarian Prime Minister for participating at an international symposium entitled The European Union and the World in Kosice, southern Slovakia. He also stated that during recent years Hungary had successfully tackled the deep economic crisis it had been in when Prime Minister Orbán came to office.

In his letter, Mr. Schuster expressed his appreciation regarding the Hungarian Prime Minister’s support for cooperation between the two countries, adding that Mr. Orbán is among those well-known European and world politicians, who talk openly and critically about both domestic and foreign affairs, as well as with regard to issues relating to the European Union.
