Deputy State Secretary for International Communications Ferenc Kumin held a lecture in the Parliament building for former Danish Minister of Tax, Trade and Industry Ole Stavad and former Danish Members of Parliament.
The attendees were particularly interested in Hungarian politics. In their questions they touched among others upon the challenges faced by the governmental two-thirds majority, healthcare, and the possible introduction of the Euro in Hungary.
The Deputy State Secretary pointed out that the interest of Scandinavian countries in Hungarian politics is very important and contributes significantly to the outstanding relations between Hungary and the region. He emphasized, however, that it is also important that the opinions and criticism articulated are based on real facts and so is particularly glad if similar opinion-leader groups gain experience on Hungary in person.
