President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso will address the closing event of the Visegrád Four Group’s Hungarian presidency in Budapest on June 24, the Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced in Bratislava on Thursday.
Mr Barroso will give an outline of financial resources available during the EU's 2014-2020 budgetary period and the possibilities of their use, he stated at the Globsec international conference.
DownloadThe Budapest event will be attended by several EU commissioners and the prime ministers of the Visegrád group countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia), he added. Hungary is currently chairing the V4 cooperation, from July 2013 until June 2014.
