Ferenc Kumin, Deputy State Secretary for International Communications, in response to the Human Rights Watch statement today upon publishing its report, said that it lacked the objectivity that is generally expected from such documents.
The statements are all too vague and simplistic to serve as a basis for debate. The Hungarian Government has been, and will continue to be, ready to respond to concrete, clearly defined concerns, but cannot address inaccurate statements that are reminiscent mostly of political slogans, he added.
