The Deputy State Secretary, Senior Advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister Jenő Megyesy and Ambassador of Hungary to the United States György Szapáry spoke briefly with the Vice President on the first day of the Democratic Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina. In recent years the former senator, who has widespread foreign policy experience, has advised President Barack Obama on several international issues and is expected to be re-elected in his position.
