On 12 December, former Prime Minister József Antall was remembered in Budapest's Fiumei Street cemetery on the 20th anniversary of his death.

According to a statement issued by the National Heritage Institute, the memorial service was attended by some two hundred people, including key members of political and social life.

Today, on the second day of the series of events organised to mark the 20th anniversary of the Prime Minister's death, a memorial meeting, which has attracted huge interest, will be held in upper house of Parliament.
