China is ready to develop cooperation with Hungary in the areas of finance, telecommunications, infrastructure and high tech, President Xi Jinpiang told Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Beijing on Thursday.
President Xi Jinpiang pointed out that bilateral relations have developed steadily over the past ten years and highlighted the importance of cultural, education and civic relations.
Prime Minister Orbán said Hungary appreciates and supports China's peaceful development, and he also confirmed that Hungary attributes great importance to China's significant and constructive global role. Hungary is looking forward to strengthening high-level cooperation with China, he concluded.
The Hungarian Prime Minister also met Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, who expressed hope for intensifying Chinese-Hungarian inter-parliamentary ties.
