Debts taken over from 1700 municipalities

In order to further improve bilateral cooperation against human trafficking, a Dutch delegation visited the Ministry of Interior, as well as the National Police Force and the Prosecution Service on 18-19 December 2012. The delegation included representatives of the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice, Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and the Coordination Centre Human Trafficking (CoMensha) and was accompanied by a representative of the Dutch Embassy of Budapest.

Hungary as a small country with an open economy has been severely affected by the crisis which has highlighted the fact that stable economic growth in the medium and long term can only be ensured by an adequately diversified economic structure. Key data of the central sub sector of the state budget in November 2012 - In the month of November 2012 the central sub sector of the state budget registered a deficit of 33.6bn HUF. Within that, the central state budget, Social Security Funds and extra budgetary state funds registered deficits of 10.1bn HUF, 23.1bn HUF and 0.4bn HUF, respectively. In the month of November 2012 the central sub sector of the state budget posted a surplus of 79.9bn HUF.

2013 to start well with lower utility costs and higher wages

120 billion forints for development of infrastructure with neighbouring countries

"The National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) has performed 3700 inspections and issues HUF 4.3 million in fines during the first phase of winter food monitoring activities. Inspections will continue until the end of December", announced State Secretary for Food Chain Supervision and Agricultural Economy of the Ministry of Rural Development Endre Kardeván on Monday in Budapest. The goal of the expanded monitoring is to ensure that only high quality products that conform to food safety standards reach the consumer's shopping basket even during the peak Christmas season.
