Speaking at the Portfolio.hu Forint 2014 conference in Budapest, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said that the forint exchange rate can be considered optimal whenever it facilitates stable economic growth in Hungary. The Minister added that the Government has not set any specific exchange rate target.
By the end of this government term six thousand nursery places will have been created and more than another five thousand will have been modernized, Minister of State for Social and Family Affairs Miklós Soltész said on Wednesday in the town of Salgótarján, north-eastern Hungary, during the laying of the foundation stone for a new nursery there.
