The fraction union of FIDESZ-KDNP, the presidencies of the ruling parties and the Government of Hungary made a political decision to launch the Structural Reform Programme. The programme is aimed at consolidating the Hungarian public sector by means of structural reforms, strengthening economic growth, encouraging the increase of employment and enhancing the competitiveness of Hungary’s economy.

János Hóvári, Deputy State Secretary for Global Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited the State of Kuwait as special envoy of President Pál Schmitt on February 26, 2011, and participated in the large-scale celebrations commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Kuwait as well as the 20th anniversary of its liberation from the Iraqi occupation. A successful and rising country needs to permanently augment the capacities of fresh and creative knowledge that does not go without a modern higher education to meet labour market expectations as well as the actual demands of the economy and of the society.
